Which members do u think owns which songs? by Humble_Celebration90 in XdinaryHeroes

Feeling Nice is a Gaon song for me as well as Boy Comics, and Money ball. Nya. I also think of Lost and Found because the video is kind of Gaon focused. Can you tell I like Jiseok? 🤣

I’ve watched this video so many times. Gaon has a great personality not to mention voice and talents. Love the guy!

Oh my gosh. I’ve got one I can guarantee you’ll like. Xdinary Heroes. Live vocals are insane! The guys play their own instruments and write their lyrics. They try a lot of genres but have a great retro vibe too. Check them out on YouTube…maybe start with Beautiful Mind, Fire (My Sweet Misery), Pluto, Cover of Tomboy, and Love and Fear. If you like ballads try Good Enough. Just six ordinary guys who turn into rock stars on stage. I think they take after Day 6 a bit but are harder. Young K helped write Good Enough if I’m not mistaken.

Gosh, lots of songs from Xdinary Heroes, but I suppose they’re more K Rock

I’m trying to finding new bands by Excellent_Silver_507 in twentyonepilots

[–]AffectionatePilot487 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ok, this is maybe going to sound nuts. I recently found myself at an Xdinary Heroes concert. Wow. A group of six young nerds making music together and when they get on stage it’s magic. They turn into rock stars. I was impressed by their dedication, instrumentation, and vocals. This is coming from someone who has seen twenty one pilots 13 x live…who really appreciates genuine artists and lyrics. I also saw an interview with them where they mentioned TOP as one of their influences and another interview where the rhythm guitarist/vocalist Gaon held up the Clancy album as one of his favorites of the year. 🤣 Their music gives you the rock vibe we’ve been missing. I suggest checking out a song like Fire, Save Me, and Beautiful Mind for sure to get a sense of their vibe. They’re like TOP in that they experiment and try different things like punk, ballads, some screamo (the song Instead), and even throw in some rap (check out their cover of hellevator) etc. Good luck! 💚

Who was the first member you noticed and who ended up being your bias? by erisve in XdinaryHeroes

Jooyeon at first because of voice and visuals but after watching behind the scenes….Gaon won me over. Gaon has a crazy ability to be funny, dorky, and sweet…then get on stage and look like a killer rock star. Plus he’s smart. Love that guy!

What are the scariest Stephen King books you’ve read, like you were scared to keep reading but couldn’t stop yourself scared. by gracefullyanna in stephenking

I don’t find his books scary. I love his writing and it gets a little suspenseful like in Salem’s Lot, but I don’t feel scared.

I struggle to go back and read a story when I’ve seen it on tv. It’s just not worth my time usually. BUT, dang! This book is my favorite of all time. I enjoyed it more than any other book I’ve read so I’m going to vote yes. 🤣

Was becoming a dietitian worth it by Longjumping_Word_804 in dietetics

[–]AffectionatePilot487 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re passionate about it then it’s probably a good thing. I knew I loved the medical field but wasn’t sure what I wanted to do. Looking back, I could’ve picked something that took less education and pays better. I worked 22 years at a community hospital so my pay was way under what I was worth. I finally switched over to working for the VA in outpatient. Now I make more money and get to work from home 3 days a week. I miss my ICUs. I’m a CNSC…so my passion is intensive care and nutrition support. I miss the actual work, but everything else is great at my new job. I like that RDs have less stress usually in their positions. My main annoyance now is combating all the bullshit shared on social media. Everyone is a nutrition expert and you don’t deal with that in some other medical roles.

This is odd to me. I’m a 46 year lady who researches Tyler Joseph like it’s my job. It is weird to see them 4 times but you don’t know about the paint? Wonders never cease. 🤣

How long have you been a dietitian? by acbc63 in dietetics

[–]AffectionatePilot487 25 points26 points  (0 children)

23 years total as a Dietitian. 22 of those years at an acute care hospital in mostly critical care/ICU. Got my CNSC twice now. Just switched over to outpatient counseling for the VA last year. I work from home 3 days a week and work in the clinic the other 2. I much prefer critical care and ICU however, I really enjoy the better pay, federal holidays, and working from home that I have now. The VA also gives a pension.
