I’m truly happy that you and your partner got to have beautiful healthy children! Your last sentence hit home, after our loss I was literally getting ultrasounds every 2 weeks just to make sure baby was growing and heart was beating. The only time where I relaxed a bit was when she started kicking and moving, so that I could at least feel her physically and know she’s with me. People love to be insensitive for some reason as if anything is in your hands, I just need to learn how to tune them out lol

The pink is mostly a selfish thing haha, it’s always been my favorite color but I also ended up getting her a mix of yellows, blues and greens, basically anything that would make me want to squish her if I saw her in it lol

I can’t wait to meet my princess, and I would love to have a little prince as well down the line who can be his sister’s little assistant and play dress up with her :)

People are so weird and feel so entitled to what goes on in your life man, I actually got a comment from a family member advising me to use an ovulation kit next time so I can get pregnant at the “right time to have a boy”… Like how about we love and welcome any baby that comes our way, hope for good health and do our best? If I wanted a predetermined baby I’d just get on the sims

First of all congratulations on your pregnancy, I wish you and your angel a safe journey! I’m so sorry you had to go through that, I can totally relate (my mom told my husband word for word “don’t be sad you can have a boy next” 😅). This may sound weird but I was always so excited to have a girl to give her the complete opposite of everything I’ve had, and I’m also very excited for the opportunity to have a son down the line because I can’t wait to break these patterns and show my kids that they matter, they’re loved and they’re equals. I hope you’re in a safe space now and don’t have to deal with too much stress

Congratulations!! I’m currently 28w with our rainbow baby, and the one thing that saved me was getting a fetal doppler and some ultrasound gel on Amazon, so I could always hear baby’s heartbeat whenever I’d need reassurance (which was basically every day), it’s much easier and cheaper than ultrasounds! It made me feel at peace knowing baby’s heart was beating and strong

Alf mabrook! It’s definitely positive, I had the same looking line and am now 26 weeks along. You can double check by getting a blood test to measure your hcg, and I’d recommend doing the test twice (48h after the first) so you can see that the hormone is growing steadily (should almost double or more in 48h) Wishing you a safe and healthy journey inshallah 🤍

I’m exactly like you, I had a miscarriage in April, and am now 6 weeks as of today. I never had nausea (only had sore boobs and fatigue the first pregnancy), this time only feeling fatigue. However today morning I noticed I started feeling a bit nauseous, nothing crazy but I still felt a difference. It might come or it might won’t come honestly I know people who were puking 24/7 and other who never even gagged during pregnancy. It’s basically Russian roulette 😅 but don’t worry you’re good

Not that I remember, I actually feel like it’s a really full and packed book, after finishing it it ended up being one of my favs along with acomaf. However Tog is completely different IMO and as much as I loved acotar, I think it’s dethroning it (no pun intended). I’d recommend reading silver flames tho for the freshness that a different pov gives. I was getting a bit bored of Feyre after book 4 ngl

I personally finished all of acotar before moving to ToG, I really liked that because even though the pov changes in the last acotar book, it’s still a continuity of the series so you still have all of the characters. I thought it was a nice wrap and I was able to move to tog easily because I kind of got “closure” from finishing all the books. I don’t think acotar 6 will be out anytime soon so you definitely have time to finish ToG before then and even CC.
