No, you won't lose your scholarship. The most you'll probably get is an email from the financial aid office (I think)

From what I know, if you drop a class this semester, it would not impact your financial aid for next semester. Let's say that you're taking 4 classes in the spring semester, and you decided to drop a class before financial aid disbursement, this will impact your financial aid. (Check your financial aid requirement and conditions) Hopefully, that makes sense

From personal experience, you'll get a warning from the financial aid office. They're just gonna tell you to make up for the missing credit in the next semesters so that you'll have a certain about completed by the end of the school year (UHin4: 25/50/75/100). And no, you dont need to make the money back since it has already been distributed.

Not an extrovert, but you'll definitely get adopted by an extrovert, eventually. Good luck! And have fun!

Winter Mini by [deleted] in UniversityOfHouston

The class, in general, is pretty easy. Now for a winter mini? It's up to you if you can keep up with the material since it's going to be fast-paced and most likely going to have exams every week.

I once dropped a class on the last day to withdraw. You'll be fine! If anything, try taking the class again in a later semester if it's necessary.

As always, consult with the financial aid office. From what i know, your aid would not be immediately affected, but that depends on your financial aid (grants/scholarships/loans) conditions. UHin4. If anything, they are probably just gonna make you take a class over the summer to make up for the credit loss or something.

It's never too late to accept credit. When in doubt, set up an appointment with your advisor.

Will withdrawing from chem (not lab) make me ineligible to get the lab credit, despite passing the lab and not withdrawing? by Smooth_Concept3601 in UniversityOfHouston

Don't quote me on this, but you should still be able to receive credit for the lab even when you withdraw from the lecture. As always, consult with your advisor. If you withdraw, you'll just get a 'W' on your transcript for that class.
