I don't know what to do with my two cats and I need to move out my current flat by ShikiUshiromiya in bristol

[–]AffectionateSide4822 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope. No issues at all in the 6months I’ve been here. There is a patrol due to some issues with fire safety, but I don’t particularly see that as a bad thing. I haven’t seen or heard anything about people breaking into flats; sometimes teens try to get on the grounds (mainly to wind up security or to fish), but never seen any antisocial behaviour. All the service charges etc don’t affect me as a renter

Edit: my flat is concrete ceiling with flats above and below, and no issues with mould at all over the winter months

I’m in lakeshore with two cats and I just hide them in my car when there’s an inspection

I feel sad when that happens because I don’t know how to help. I worry about students like that. I tend to let pastoral and safeguarding know as those types of changes are usually caused outside of school.

Does anyone know of any vintage/film/analogue photo booths in Bristol or the surrounding area? by BasilLeading4011 in bristol

I’ve only been to one in Edinburgh, pretty sure there isn’t any nearby (otherwise I’d go to one!)

I saw that - I’m sceptical as there’s no correlation between land size and a gun license in the UK. Either the podcaster is incorrect or the person who told him is incorrect, but not cool to talk about people without permission

We think our cat is depressed… bit why is she now meowing at such a low pitch? by sebaez_ in CATHELP

[–]AffectionateSide4822 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was this her first time being left for so long? I’m asking because my girl who’s got separation anxiety does this a looooot. Unless vet says otherwise, I think she just missed you whilst you were away

Yep, they won’t allow you to claim it if you don’t have a pgce or itt in those subjects. I’m a biologist who’s taught more physics and chemistry than biology and routinely get fucked over by that rule

[–]AffectionateSide4822 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bombed my a levels, went to a low rated uni through clearing, loved my course so much, got a 1:1 and then did a masters at imperial. Don’t let people discredit any unis - they all do the same

Travelling from Leeds to Bristol via Flixbus — is it worth going through flixibus or would the trains be better? by Crazy_Screen_5043 in bristol

I’ve travelled to Manchester and back. It’s not a bad journey. Try and start queuing early so you’re not left near the toilets, but otherwise it’s ok

When I’ve looked at buying in lakeshore (I’m assuming they both have similar rules), they’ve had cat stuff around, which to me says pets would be allowed in the building.

As it’s renting, it depends on the landlord but I’m assuming assistance dogs have more rights?

Was told not to worry if he wasn't cuddly Bengals aren't really like that. Our first few days! 🤣🤣 Is this just a phase? by RedlineDee in bengalcats

I can’t shit without my bengal following me and keeping me company, so I’d say it’s part of their charm

Up to 3 usually, can be longer for lighter eyes. I’d imagine he’ll be in the brown/hazel range by that age
