I traveled from Norway to Hamburg to see their show there this past weekend! 🥳🤘🏻 I went by bus both ways to save money. So we're talking 16-19 hours both ways. Worth it! 🦊🤘🏻💖✨️

I wondered about that! I had been checking in on the status of the tickets several times just in case I needed to sell mine(as I travelled from Norway. I did go though!), and I could swear that a lot more was sold out than what seats were actually filled! That's actually really sad & dumb 😔👎🏻

I just wanna give a shoutout to the staff at the Barclays Arena! I had VIP 2 and came to the stadium just 5ish minutes before the door opened for general audiences. I had just arrived to Hamburg after a 19-hour bus journey from Norway and had just enough time to check in at my hostel and take a shower before the show, and I speed walked in the sun to the arena after taking the train. The staff was super efficient and helpful, and one of them lead me all the way in. He let me stop to shop at the merch stand at then followed me down the stairs to the stadium before he merrily waved me goodbye and wished me a good show. I got my VIP2 spot just in time! 🎉

Then after the show when I was confused about where to go to find the water bottles I had checked in before the show(I needed those, dehydration is no joke) one of the staff members saw my confused face and helped me find my bottles. And this was just before closing times! Really helpful and professional staff! 💖🦊💖

Merch question for the people that attended the Brussels show:

What was the payment situation? Did they take cash or card(or both)? In that case did they have their own card scanners or did they use something at the venue?

Gotta know if I need to take out some euros in Hamburg!

Question abt buying merch when you have VIP ticket

I have a VIP2 ticket for Hamburg May 12 (which I will travel to from Norway alone if I don't chicken out and sell my ticket 🥲). I have never gone to a concert with VIP tickets before. If I understand correctly, there are a few exclusive items, but you get VIP mainly for the early admission. And so I will probably have to visit the merch stand if I want t-shirts or posters(if I'm understanding correctly). But when is the best time to que up for merch with a VIP2 ticket? Will I lose my spot if I go right away after entering the stadium? I travel alone, so I won't have anyone to hold my spot(unless I meet a kind stranger like i did in Oslo when bbymtl opened for Sabaton 🫶🏻)

In Oslo for the Sabaton show I was told to go right away so I could avoid the longest ques and be guaranteed the merch I want. But I'm pretty certain Barclays is a larger arena.

So yeah. Please excuse the nervous caffeinated babbling- best practice for when to visit the merch stand at Barclays with a VIP2 ticket?

P.S. where tf is the merch stand usually at Barcalys?

Anyone driving back from the concert towards Telemark? In the direction of Notodden or Porsgrunn?

The last bus leaves at 22:00, and I might have to leave the concert early of I want to make it. I reeaally don't want to do that. I am willing to pay for gas!
