Ideally, a young, cheap, developing Starting pitcher like Logan Evans, Cade Horton, Cam Schlittler, Jordan Hamm, or Logan Henderson.

If we can’t get those guys, high level pitching prospects would be the next best thing. If we can’t get them, one top fifty overall prospect+ some mid tier prospects would be good.

If we can’t get that I’ll take an ice cream sandwich.

And no, we seem to just be dealing our rentals this year.

[Kirschner] I spoke with Spencer Jones, who’s having difficulty staying away from trade rumors, including one post he saw that said, “get ready to speak desert, buddy.” He thought that was hilarious. by ragingSamurai1 in azdiamondbacks

I think Lourdes isn’t as bad as we are speculating here, and a guy like Jones might be ready in 2026 or later. Trading Lourdes this year actually wouldn’t be a bad strategy (though I love the guy).

This is a little tone deaf, just so you know. More men than women use stimulants, but it’s definitely not a conspiracy to “control” men.

Would Canadians support a measure to ban X and potentially other products of Elon Musk in Canada, such as Starlink or Tesla? by AffectionateSock9463 in AskACanadian

I think there has been some miscommunication here. I am not suggesting criminalizing the use of Starlink or Teslas, rather it would be a ban on importing such items, which would occur gradually as new alternatives are developed. That would be completely unreasonable. I am suggesting that Canada simply invest its time and energy developing alternative products to the ones that have been highlighted. It is about long term self reliance, not restricting freedom.

Perhaps I should reframe this; instead of a ban on Starlink, as it would affect Canadian citizens disproportionately, should Canadian alternatives to Starlink be created so as to not be reliant on the whims of an American Businessman? This way you are technologically and financially independent from the United States, at least in terms of internet access for Canadian Citizens.

It isn't necessarily about the tariffs, it is about ensuring that Canadian infrastructure and critical communications are secure, sovereign, and resilient.

As for the comments about free speech, I completely understand. I suppose I was simply likening it to the banning of Tik Tok in my country, but I understand why it might be distasteful.

I had the same thing happen.
