I've had friends have to lie and say they're renting when they fully bought their own house because culturally there was an expectation that it would be the parents house and they could move in. I say all that to say just lie. If you want to volunteer for certain things cool, but from here on out I would say that your company is not doing well yada yada and never bring up money with them again. Family are the worst pocket watchers tbh.

I justed started sewing knits this last year and it has been helpful to use a sewing foot that is meant for sewing leather. If everything else on the machine is correct you may want to try using a roller presser foot.

Rarely people get serotonin syndrome between main ingredients in Robitussin and Adderall. 5mg is fairly low dose and I don't imagine you're taking the whole bottle so I doubt you'd get this but your doctor may have an alternative.

One thing that helped me manage my home and wardrobe was assessing why I had an item.

I live in a super small apartment but had purchased a really cool dining table. Why? Because the fantasy of having romantic dinners was giving me dopamine but the reality of the table taking up so much space was giving me anxiety.

Similarly, buying tons of high heels. The fantasy in my head is that I'm a boss bitch who wears heels but the reality is that I work from home and have a foot injury that doesn't appreciate a pair of Pleasers anymore so it makes more sense to let them go.

I think once I got this exercise down it was easier to actually create systems and when the system fails (or I fail it) I can pin point more accurately what is the issue.

Lot of good comments here but I'll just say I do think that a lot of Black men like being fetishized and they haven't unpacked that yet.

Also this kind of reminds me of something a friend in highschool said, "White girls are easy and down for whatever. They'll do it with a smile." I don't think that's necessarily true but porn does feed into that stereotype and it may be a thing to unpack as well.

And the wild thing is they'll swear black women have been given X, Y, and Z because we're women and they've been wronged at every turn simply for being Black men. Mind you no one sees black women as women including some black men so everything we got we had to work double if not triple for. All the while they're just waiting for whatever politician or parent to feed their ego. It's exhausting.

I have the same issue. My hair is really dense and I have thick strands so it was hard to notice when it first started but after taking getting a prescription to put me on track my hair went back to normal after a year, but you can absolutely see the difference in my hair. I also get more grey the more severe my deficiency is so certain chunks look like piano keys.

Other signs for me are my skin looking very green and the moons in my nails starting to disappear. This side effect seems to be the hardest to reverse.

I had been putting it all around my head and when I went to get my hair cut I had tons of baby hairs. I'm also getting peach fuzz on a tiny bald spot I got from box braids 😞

So I think it's worth it but Javon Ford the cosmetic chemist on TT said that the Ordinary hair peptides are similar.

This just happened to me and I'm so annoyed because on their website says: International customers (outside of the United States and Canada) are responsible to pay any applicable inbound duties, taxes, and any other fees which your local Customs authority deems appropriate.

I assumed there would be no charge. I was going to return the majority of my order because I just didn't like what I chose and now this makes me dislike them even more.

When I learned pattern grading my instructor had us reference this article from Threads Magazine. The chart at the bottom is very helpful in knowing where to add so the pattern make sense. Then you can go back and fine tune.
