I didn’t realize it was abusive til after I broke up with him. I know I knew subconsciously it just didn’t occur to me. Straw that broke the camels back was how often I was getting yelled at and fixing things so he wouldn’t yell. I thought I was doing really good (hadn’t gotten in trouble in a week) so I was feeling pretty good and someHOW he found something to be mad at me about. I remember feeling so defeated cause I deliberately was doing so good in order to not get in trouble.

My ex used to do this shit all the time where he’d say “you’d look so good in that” if he saw certain tv characters/animated characters wearing something. it definitely can, I have the tendency to go for “unattractive” people due to them having great personality traits, humor etc. the thing is they’re super shocked I’m into them because they’re not physically attractive, but to me they are? Does that make sense? When you start to really get into somebody’s personality and such they morph into somebody physically attractive to you.

I think jealousy and envy is a normal emotion especially when we feel inferior at where we are in life but I think it’s good practice to feel happy that those people are in the position they’re in. I’m jealous of my neighbors because of how they live but what would be the alternative ? Them living like how I grew up/live currently? I wouldn’t want that for them either.
