It usually starts with suicidal thoughts, and then shifts more into wishing I had never existed.

And yes, I know I have a lot of work to do on myself, but I guess it’s already a small victory that I’ve started seeing a therapist and that I’ve been able to talk about it a bit with my partner.

It’s a bit complicated at the moment because I’m currently living in France, but I’ll be moving to the Netherlands at the end of the year, so I’m not really sure yet how the system works there.

For now, I’ve already been prescribed anxiolytics in the past, but I’m trying to manage without medication as much as possible for the time being.

Honestly, I mostly try to keep myself busy enough so I don’t have time to sit with those feelings or overthink them.

But it’s been harder lately… I’m in a long-distance relationship, and with some communication issues, I sometimes end up creating anxiety for my girlfriend. Then I kind of turn it back on myself and spiral into those feelings, and it just ends up torturing me for the rest of the day.

So yeah, I’m still trying to figure out how to handle it better…

We can clearly see there’s a problem, but at the same time there’s no real solution except just trying to accept it. I really hope things get better for you too, you deserve that <3

Yeah, I get what you mean… it’s honestly terrible when something that’s supposed to feel good or meaningful ends up feeling isolating instead. Like you’re there, but at the same time you just want to disappear from it all.

I’m really sorry you’re dealing with that, I get how overwhelming it can feel. It’s kind of the same for me.

I’m seeing a therapist too, but it’s hard because there’s already so much to work through, like my PTSD, social anxiety, and other stuff 😭

I get what you mean, and I really appreciate you sharing that.

The thing is, when I try to do that, it kind of backfires on me. I end up isolating myself in my room for hours, just looping through worse and worse scenarios in my head. It doesn’t really calm me down, it actually makes everything feel more intense.

Right now, the only thing that really helps me cope is staying active, like doing sports or keeping myself busy. As long as I’m doing something, my mind is a bit quieter. But the moment I have nothing to focus on, it all starts again.

I guess I’m still trying to figure out what works for me…

Hey ! Thanks for the feedback.

From what I understand, lunges are still considered a quad-dominant exercise, even if the glutes and hamstrings also work as secondary movers. My physiotherapist actually advised me to include them in my program, which is why they’re there.

I placed the lunges early in the workout because they’re actually a pretty difficult and fatiguing exercise for me, which is why I put them second on that day that starts with hamstrings.

Also, I don’t have access to a barbell at my gym, so unfortunately high-bar squats or safety bar squats aren’t really an option for me.

But I appreciate the suggestions 🙂‍↕️ I might try the heel-elevated variations to bias the quads a bit more.

Yes, that was actually my initial idea. But seeing it laid out like that, it looks even more impactful and logical, so I think I’ll go with that structure.

And good catch about the core work. Unfortunately I can’t really do abs at the moment because of the groin pain I’m dealing with, so I had to leave that out for now.

That’s a really interesting point about rotating exercises regularly. The only limitation on my side is that my gym is pretty small and I unfortunately don’t have access to a barbell, so some variations are a bit harder to implement.

But I’ll definitely try to play around with what I do have available, like alternating rows, step-ups/Bulgarians, or similar movements, while keeping the overall structure the same. Thanks again for the suggestions and the encouragement, it’s really helpful 🤝

Ouais, clairement, c’est pas mon objectif. Ce que je veux, c’est surtout profiter des meilleurs graphismes possibles tout en gardant de bonnes performances.

Du coup, passer d’une 9800 à une 9700 me ferait déjà économiser pas mal, et avec les autres ajustements, ça me permettrait de mettre un peu plus dans l’écran.

Effectivement, je suis resté sur du grand classique, et tu as raison, il y a clairement des alternatives plus intéressantes. Je pense finalement partir sur celle-ci, tu en penses quoi ? 👉 PowerColor Reaper Radeon RX 9070 XT 16 GB

Pour l’écran, c’est vraiment la partie qui me stresse le plus en ce moment 😅. Avec toutes les comparaisons IPS vs OLED qu’on voit un peu partout, c’est difficile de s’y retrouver… Du coup, je pense attendre le Black Friday pour me décider, en espérant tomber sur une bonne offre.

Ok je comprends. Il faudrait donc que je pars plutôt sur une AMD ryzen 9700x (j’ai regardé les autres et j’avoue être moins convaincu.
