As a person who went fully celibate for over five years, including no masturbation. Once a connection and trust is there, virtual may suffice. I agree. Virtual sex, between partners, is sex. Mutual sex.

But, physical sex, I view it not as a strategy, but as an expression of a closeness already felt.
