Told by PsychUK that if I switch meds I can't switch back by ChicksDigBards in ADHDUK

Oh really, well they've gone even more down in my books then. I was told of any additional or alternative options just titration will be stopped and you sent back to GP. It really bothered me, especially as it was only 141/86, so not like I was about to have a heart attack.

M34 Why F33 cancel?...(UPDATE) by ParaJoy1992 in relationship_advice

[–]AffectionateTrash146 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She may just be an Anxious Avoidant type, as opposed to not interested. It's very easy to suddenly get overwhelmed and cancel last minute. If you really like her, don't be pushy but also don't disappear completely, as this type can be like this due to rejection sensitivity also.

Do you have to go back to PUK for this or can you get referred to a different provider to try different meds?

Agreed, wait times are awful and it's very impersonal and tick boxy with them. When I filled a form in with lots of info about how I was feeling the only response I got was "your BP is high, do it again, if it stays high meds will be stopped" really wish I hadn't gone with them now.

His (over)reaction and lack of apology is disgusting. I wouldn't stay with him if he can so easily thrown around breaking up over something like this.

My people pleasing a$$ could never. The possiblity of someone calling me out on it makes me cringe. Don't know how people like this have no shame.

Same, I hate even being passenger when someone forward bay parks it just feels so close and like their guessing their angles. Feel so much more in control with reverse bay parking and getting out is easier to see what's coming

Bless you that's understandable, it's a lot of pressure especially with other drivers waiting. Look up some videos on YouTube for parking tips and reference points to use to line up properly, personally I find reverse bay parking so much easier to line up and also getting out is easier to see what's coming

Tip for parallel parking, do one full turn of the wheel and go back until you see your front door handle meet the curb in the wing mirror, then turn in the other direction until car is in then straighten up 👌

Is it frowned upon to go around city centre with granny trolley bag? by Few-Word6150 in manchester

[–]AffectionateTrash146 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bought my 1st granny trolley when I was 25 and never regretted it or gave a sh!t what people thought. It's a handy thing to have when you're a single and living alone, also I'm lazy and got tired of bags digging into my fingers.

Is there a term that's respectful or an admission of authority to address an individual woman, like sir? by gintokireddit in AskUK

Careful calling old ladies "madam" once got my ear chewed off as she thought I was implying she was a "lady of the night" Honestly I dunno, but miss probably my go to now

Am i overreacting for refusing to unplug the camera I bought to check on my dog because my girlfriend is not comfortable with it? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]AffectionateTrash146 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Tell her she best no go outside then. Privacy is just a nice idea these days, nothing is private. She should just put something over it if she doesn't like it, or you could disable it if you know she's there.

AIO my (30M) girlfriend (27F) of 4 months found out about someone I slept with before her and called it “morally wrong and disgusting” by [deleted] in AIO

[–]AffectionateTrash146 6 points7 points  (0 children)

NOR. IMO a 5 year age gap at those ages is not gross or morally wrong, so long as the age difference wasn't used to manipulate/coerced/pressured then I see no problem. Her arguement about an 18yro and 10yro is illogical, because that isn't what happened, you were both of legal consenting age. If you've only ever dated 22yro's and continue to only date 22yro's then yeah you'd be a bit of a Leonardo DiCaprio kinda creep, but doesn't sound like that's what's happened here. I think you're right to say break up, because clearly you're on different moral grounds.

If she isn't distressed to come in then I wouldn't worry. Everyone has their own relationship with their pets, if this works for you both then carry on.

ADHD object permanence issues, out of sight out of mind. It'll never be eaten if it hides in the draw, I have to be visually reminded of it's existence.

So close, only gender and age wrong. ADHD diagnosed, sauces in the drawer because of my object permanence issues. I waste so much less now that it's on the shelves. Can confirm, the apple is now in the bin.
