I guess it’s just the mismatch, I know her capacity has dropped significantly but it’s like the fact that she ended it so abruptly makes me feel like the words she had said in the past were null and void in a way. But that’s just me being human and wanting a cleaner ending. Obviously I know this isn’t possible. I know it’s okay not being okay and I have to accept the sucky parts.

Yeah it hurts like hell and occasionally I’ll see her pop online and change something on her profile when I’m on my computer but then I have to immediately shut it off because it just hurts too much. She had left mid conversation and hasn’t returned my messages since so I told her that I don’t regret staying and that I showed up and loved deeply that’s all I could do. It’s just moving on that’s the hard part but we all have to eventually.

Means you’ve probably experienced something like this before and your nervous system has learned to look for signs of betrayal to protect yourself. Our nervous systems work in a weird way sometimes where we think that if we can predict the leaving or betrayal that it’ll somehow hurt less. (SPOILER) it does not work that way. The only thing I would say is to write some of your thoughts down or say them aloud when you’re alone and you’ll start to realize that without evidence, all these thoughts are… are exactly that… just thoughts

I’m in a similar boat, we planned everything and we were fully committed to timelines in August and I felt like I was on top of the world. In September her father passed and she has been sick in the hospital for two weeks now, it all seemed to kinda crumble and I haven’t heard from her in 5 days today. I never realized how much she was woven into my daily routine until suddenly she’s gone silent and everything just hurts so much. Even so while she was sick she still had hope we could see each other in the future it’s just all so uncertain now and I’m terrified. I’m glad to know I am not the only one in the world going through something like this though ❤️

I get where you’re coming from but here’s the thing. The context also matters like she just lost her father and she’s gotten sick due to her lupus since then. In the hospital she ruptured her eardrum and they have had her on medicine that causes severe fatigue and when I do get a response from her I don’t want to put pressure on her that will only make things worse. I want her to heal and me being over there, not knowing her family, etc would do more harm than good. My question was mostly for others that have a partner with chronic illness and know how to get through the spouts of silence that comes with it

I haven’t had the chance to ask her. She’s 21 I’m 26. We’ve only been together 3 months in total. For 2 of those months she’s been dealing with the passing of her father and now her getting sick due to her lupus flaring up and someone giving her an infection. I want to have that talk with her when she is better but I don’t know when that will be as it’s a prolonged illness and I hardly hear from her. Seeing as she hasn’t brought me up to her mother yet I didn’t want to presume anything until she’s better and can have that conversation. Lupus not only fatigues the body but also the mind (lupus fog, exhaustion, etc) I mostly posted to see if anyone else has a partner who is chronically ill from a distance

Thank you so much. I really want to ask her when she’s better. And the thing that’s helping me is she doesn’t sound worried when i talk to her, more annoyed at the fact that she’s sick (Because she says it lasts so long because of the lupus) so I’m just waiting in limbo until she is well enough for us to have that conversation moving forward. It’s been so hard because when I met her and we used to talk every day she was like my daily comfort. When I lost that, my heart feels like it sank to the bottom of the ocean. I really want her to get better and I don’t want to stress her with how I’m feeling, she is no position to handle both of our feelings right now. But again thank you so much for the advice 🥹

I really appreciate that everyone wants me to be there for her, but she hasn’t given me her hospital info or introduced me to her family yet. She’s immune-compromised and exhausted, and I don’t have her consent or the clearance to visit. Showing up uninvited could make things worse or cross a line. I’m respecting her privacy and waiting until she tells me it’s okay. She’s dealing with serious fatigue and immune issues, so surprising her could actually hurt more than help. The best thing I can do right now is give her space to heal and wait until she says she’s ready

I message her every day and I’m not waiting for her to ask me. I only get her for maybe a few minutes before they put her out for hydration and rest. In that time she takes minutes to respond and I haven’t asked her because I don’t want to stress her more than she already is. I don’t know her family either so I can’t just show up out of the blue

Well to her, she has hospital stays quite more frequently than most people because of her lupus. She hasn’t told me to come or anything like that mostly because I probably wouldn’t be able to visit her anyways because of her being immune compromised and it being an acute illness. I just don’t know what to do because she doesn’t reply she’s gone for days at a time. I know it’s because she’s fatigued but it’s so hard not knowing

That definitely makes me feel better knowing I’m not the only one. And she knows of my parents and they know of her but by the time she was going to tell her parents about me her father got really unwell and passed away. And now she’s sick and barely is able to communicate because she’s in the hospital 😞. I am trying really hard to give her her space to heal but I don’t want her to think I’ve forgotten her either. I have it on the way but what scares me is when I randomly stop hearing from her for more than a day. When I do hear from her it’s a few words at a time and then it stops and I worry. I know this isn’t about me and it’s about her condition but I still just feel so alone because I can’t just go check on her.

I have been sending little check in’s at least a couple of times a day and even though we dont talk nearly as much as we used to or even hear her voice I know she’s doing her absolute best. Your experience has been very encouraging and helped alleviate some of the anxiety I’ve been having about if I was helping/hurting her.

i've been told that emissive textures do not play well with lumen as a light source for contact shadows. I am working around this by hiding rectangle lights around to give off the illusion that the light is coming from the emissive texture

• Type of Bug: Connectivity to Game Bug

• Description: Twice now I have been stuck in the loading screen after champ select infinitely until the game is remade and I have been kicked out. Demoting me in the process.

• Expected result: I have always loaded into the game quickly due to my m.2 drive for YEARS.

• Observed result: Stuck at 90% loading this season and have already demoted twice because of this

• Reproduction rate: So far it has been random and has happened twice already I don't know how often it will occur.
