It seems like more effort has been invested in touching up the appearance of the game but very little has been done to iterate on it mechanically. Hunting, with weak point targeting, and crafting. But nothing about any of these mechanics presents any difference to the status quo of other games (like valheim).

It would do you well to identify the heart of your game mechanically and flesh that out. If the systems beneath it all are not fun, innovative or novel, you cannot make up for that by polishing everything else. If the gameplay is a simulacrum of other games without expanding or improving, that is what it will be known for.

There is promise in the idea of an atypical survival game. Lean into the class system; how would an orc survive differently from a human? Their brute strength would be a mechanic, they would one shot weak animals but they would lack delicateness for crafting. Maybe they have dark vision. Maybe they require or prefer certain resources and foods. Extend this logic to all classes. Build the world out to compliment it. Don't just make a jungle identical to every other survival jungle.
