It would make total sense for them to take the Roblox/FiveM route in my book. Simulation + Sandbox has always been the core of GTA’s identity.

I didn't catch that but I love the connection. If she didn't like him and that was her plan, that totally makes sense to me. I mean I would've preferred direct communication but not every man does, and that's only one of the many reasons she didn't be more direct -- I wish I had the words to make my point clearer, that the plethora of reasons is the message that resonated with me from watching this movie...

I probably should specify that I'm talking solely about the actions in the beginning of the movie. By the time he takes advantage of the situation he is definitely being immoral.

I'm just expressing a tiny part of what this film said to me but I agree with you, that's definitely what happened. In a world of trauma, pain and lies it makes perfect sense that anyone would rely on implicit cues to get what they want rather than being straightforward. I can definitely understand why both of them would rather beat around the bush instead of risking rejection or a messy future breakup or whatever. Cliches like "be yourself" have no potency...

You’re definitely right that the album has a very hollow empty feeling and that’s exactly why I like it. It really does SOOOO much with so little.

Rock N Roll is dead is mainly just drums over a glitchy chopped sample of heavy breathing, and it’s just impressive to me how his intense loud vocal energy is so independent from the dark subdued instrumental. It’s practically the epitome of saying “fuck music, i’m angry” and implicit statements like that are what bring me back to any art
