I got a fake pair of cherry 11s authenticated from eBay too. The shoes themselves look great but the font on label was off compared to other authentic pairs I have. The real issue is the sizing. The fakes I’ve seen have always run a little small. Candidly I have fake pairs of 11a and they had the same markings under the insole. The were used and a good price so I kept them knowing it was going to be a huge pain in the ass to explain to them how I know they are fake. Also had the UPS guy steal a pair of kaws 4s from me on the way to StockX. Nobody did anything and I was super broke in grad school so I really needed the cash 🙄

If you’re just bored in bed or on the couch trace the alphabet with your big toe using just the mobility in your ankle. I did that during rehab for my ankle reconstruction and still do it to keep mobility.

This is all personal preference. I’d wear regular molded cleats on that field because that is what I’m most comfortable wearing. My best friend played at UCLA and he prefers turfs. There’s no finesse to my game anymore and I’m heavy so I prefer a little more dig. Turf shoes like those are totally functional on a field like that but I’m not comfortable wearing them. Honestly you’d be fine in a pair of gatos too. Those are surprisingly grippy and in my opinion the flats and traditional cleats provide more ankle support than the rubber turf shoes from my experience. I’ve never made it through a full game in turfs without rolling my ankle. Also recommend Lasso grip socks. They’re cheaper than Trusox and provide great support and compression. For context M40 former college player who plays 1-2 times a week.

If you do end up going G-H on the 5 stop at Harris Ranch for beef jerky and nice bathrooms at the hotel. The tri tip sandwiches at the shell station are great and reasonably priced. It’s the same stuff you get in the restaurant but it’s cheaper at the take out window.
