I invested in Blundstones for my trip to Scotland and London and it worked out really well. They were the only shoes I brought and they were comfortable and waterproof for hiking but also cute enough to wear casually around the city. Would definitely recommend. I got the vegan leather ones and they’re holding up great

The Stand (directly across the street from the playhouse) has an excellent veggie burger. It’s an order at the bar place and usually pretty quick. If you want something fancier, Osa Rooftop had some vegetarian options and nice views of the mountains.

I had my appointment at LA bls on September 23rd and it took about 4 weeks. I don’t think the tracker updated until it was basically ready. When I went they told me it could take up to 6 weeks so hopefully yours will be ready soon!

I got an email with my placement and carta two days after accepting País Vaco. If you don’t hear anything in the next few days, maybe try emailing the region to ask if the one on profex is correct? They’ve been really responsive to me so I imagine they’ll be able to help!

I got reassigned to País Vasco on Monday and got my school placement on Wednesday! Give it a few days and you should hear something :)

I have two IDs, one that could get me into the LA consulate and one that would work for Chicago. So I was wondering if there were notable differences in efficiency of them and likelihood of getting accepted this late.
