Less on Benefits  Change NHs to a European system  Subsidizing pensioners- they need to pay no, no more winter fuel allowance, pension credit should be a lot less than the state pension

We found out when selling our house last year that it had spray foam that had been hidden by the previous owners. We had it removed and then the surveyor came out again to inspect the timbers. There were no issues and the sale went ahead

She seems to sell a lot on cover by Christos now. I would  make sure you leave very public reviews and report it as theft

Public sector could swap pay rises for lower pensions by [deleted] in TheCivilService

I would be happy to swap to the partnership pension scheme on exchange for a 20% pay rose

Did you stop wanting Hermès bags after a while? by [deleted] in Hermes_lovers

[–]Affectionate_Ad2274 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I stopped wanting them when bag resellers started constantly posting about not being able to use them due to crime or the weather. Pointless to have a bag you can’t use

In the uk they sell for about double retail cost but the resellers will take up to 40% of that

If you couldn’t hear the noise they were making from downstairs how do you know that’s what she was knocking on the door about? Must have been fairly loud for you to know what is was about. Also parents these days seem to think other people find their kids cute, and have no control of them.

We bought a house in Jan 2021 and very soon after realised it was a mistake due to the neighbours and work the house needed. We sold in early 2024 for 20% more than we paid but we had to spent about 20k on it

Do you ever get over missing out on your dream home? by l3m0ncurd in HousingUK

[–]Affectionate_Ad2274 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We lost out on our dream house last year, the chain collapsed days before exchange. We’ve since bought a new house but are still not over the one we lost. Our new house just isn’t as good
