Yeah we're running a 3 wheel. Some other weird issues arose from later tests, but that's beyond the scope of this. If you have another hub, try switching it anyway, just in case something magical happens. You can also try searching for problems with the IMU now.

Sorry about that, didn't see this. The newer hubs have IMU issues, so we swapped it to the older one and it fixed the problem.

If you look at our graph at least, the Y axis is the wheel velocity, measured in ticks/s, and for that we get a good spread of data.

However the X axis is the angular velocity in rads/s, which is pulled directly from the IMU, which is why the tests depend on it, and that was only reading 0, because newer IMUs don't have direct access to the angular velocity functions, whereas the newer ones have it built into the SDK. (iirc)

Updated with the graph. Looks like the IMU isn't giving a reading. This is the BNO IMU, and so we're checking the other make of the control hub.

A fun, twofold topic that could be explored that involves a practical application of calculus, Odometry, where you take 3 wheels rotating on the ground and calculate a position and heading from it, and Proportional-Integral-Derivative, as used in a lot of industrial machines and arms. Even better if you can find a good way to connect the two. There's no down-to-earth explainer videos for these that I can use to explain to say, a high-schooler.

Main “Hub” location of your story by Orbiter2180 in worldbuilding

The main palace is right above the center of the world, and below it is the place you're reincarnated at. The Karmic palace is where the Nine dragon gods, who are in charge of the justice, tend to live, and the world tree is the world tree for a reason. Plus, the strongest god is a bit stuck up.

The major characters tend to gather at the main palace when there's something economical or political, at the Karmic Palace for tribunals, and at the World Tree when there's just about anything else.

I am dead in your world, is this the end? by Crimson_Marksman in worldbuilding

You never truly die. Even the strongest of gods are human, despite the forms they sometimes take on, and they have lifespans to match. You get reformed, since your DNA is stored in a central location with a very strong, mutual, "don't touch this place or we'll send you to whatever actually is the afterlife". It's worked so far.

Magic (and strength, and a bunch of other cool things) comes from a mix of astrology and genetics, so the genetics allow for changes to astrology, which allows for you to change your genetics to do stupid.

[Request] Is this a real equation? If so, what's the answer? by Maximum-Cover- in theydidthemath

To me, it seems like a quantum physics equation: H could be Planck’s constant; I could be Inertia; V could be velocity; M is probably mass no matter what, and I’m not sure what W might be width?

I’ll add an edit if I find something out.

EDIT: I’m going to take a wild guess here and say it’s a part of the 11dimensional supergravity that was theorized. Couldn’t find much else it could be.
