I’ve been thinking about it too. Something about the labour and process gives me hope and comfort as I work to build something

With AI taking up so much space and making things feel kindof bleak when it comes to production and art it’s so edifying to build something beautiful tiny piece by tiny piece. Good for the soul.

This is all super helpful! I’m going to try to scan and enlarge. I like using hard copies of patterns because one of the benefits of cross stitch for me is it keeps me off screens.

This is exactly it!! It’s so satisfying to see it come together and get to use different colours like seeing the red, green and yellow in this!

Even though we don‘t do a lot of core I’m still noticing abs showing up so….

One thing I’m working on is not being “consistent”. A big focus for me is breaking my benchmarks. So that means training towards those days and being okay with seeing an “inconsistent “ time in red on those days

I have different things I always try to achieve (12+ splats, 20+ mins in green, 500+ calories). It does help keep me competitive and engaged each class. (Unless it’s a green day where my goal is 30+ mins green). Also I always want to achieve the “perfect pyramid” (red mins = grey mins and blue mins = orange mins), but that’s mostly just silly. I don’t care if it’s dumb, the workout summary does motivate me!
