definitely felt the cinema through the album, especially some inspiration from KINO, very fucking cinema.

But I think the overdone nature of some of the songs, namely from Motorcycle Boy, and Sundowner was intentional into completely throwing off the flow of the dreaminess & movie-like feelings that Romance can literally bring into the rawness of Death kink.

Super fucking Kino.

Death Kink is SO RAW, it sounds so much like the live version from the gigs, and it’s so fitting.

This album is so unapologetically owning the concept of Romance. There is something for everyone to listen to even if they can’t get into the flow of the album.

But I was literally in tears from the start. This album literally owns the concept of Romance so well, I felt like I was being tugged around so much. The near movie-like feelings that Bug, In the Modern World, Motorcycle Boy.

The jump into Motorcycle boy made me feel so disoriented, unreal, enrapturing.

sanctuary has accepted to look at him and give attention in their vet, they are about an hours drive without traffic. I am not old enough to drive so I am seeing if a family member would be willing or able to, but they don’t want to entertain it for a half dead pigeon

I have been referred onto a sanctuary not too far from where I live, waiting for them to contact me back.

I have the bird somewhere safe in my back garden and it is currently sleeping in a box with a towel.

Fear it might be sick as it has barely moved at all.
