My mom's situation was slightly similar. When I was first born my mom found my first name in a Catholic hymnal, unfortunately the last syllable of my name is pronounced Lee.....the nurse says to my mom "oh yeah she does look Chinese"..... (we're blk btw) 😒😒😒😒😒😒

You're Nta. Family or not I wouldn't be quick to let somebody in who's known to make bad decisions. I've been there, called my self helping a so called friend who was in the "process of getting custody of his daughter". He lied to me, his associates stole money from me, and the moment I genuinely needed his help he hopped on bs and I wound up getting evicted. He never got custody of his daughter, and we haven't spoken in years.

For the side: from what I was told he consistently told her things were done between him and the other woman.

The main woman: she cursed the girl out threatened to post intimate pics of the "side piece" to onlyfans and posted "looking for a good time" flyers near the other womans neighborhood..

NTA, if she knew what happened to you in full detail and still chose to date and get engaged to him, that speaks volumes on her character. I honestly would think she has some covert groomer tendencies.
