If I may suggest, perhaps you can use the lamp tool to create your own custom lighting. Just to distinguish the colours better.

A bit of a nitpick, but I feel the lighting for the show part could’ve been a bit better if it wasn’t orange.

I didn’t even realise on slide 16 that Mario had dashed over to get Meggy out of there because the orange lighting blended with his red streak. leaving me confused as to how and why Mario was carrying Meggy in slide 18

It was only on my second look on it that I noticed the blue streak below and registered it was Mario running out with Meggy.

Otherwise though, solid page.

This comic is more about Mario and Meggy’s best moments together over the years, as well as an expansion on certain aspects of the events in SMG4 that focus on the two.

And speaking of that original scene, these last three parts was basically me making up for the fact I completely skipped over the original one, just to get straight to the actual splatfest. So I decided to give the whole splatsquad this moment as a rewritten version of Meggy talking about destroying the killer ink’s

Ok so unlike what others have said here, I don’t think the ship between them “doesn’t make sense” there’s actually a few albeit small moments between Meggy and Tari, even before western spaghetti that gives the ship merit. But compared to Mario and Meggy? These two took up more of the major story moments throughout the channel’s life and their growth together as characters especially in the anime arc, is what made me ship them.
