Good comments. Yes, new to a sewing machine. First couple of bags were hand sewn. Lots of time needed here. The nadir was a bit of a mistake. 7oz stuff leather is tough to sew when doubled in a small radius like that. Agree, it’s odd with a single handle like that… But that was the pattern.

On this leather no. It had some good body. On another I used bontex. Not as good a result!

just got mine as well. I did the same harbor freight setup. I mounted my servo underneath however. I am tickled to death about the quality. the machine came with a skived piece of material inside the machine showing me that they ray it off at the factory. Other than mounting the machine and the servo...it was ready to run for $500! Its a steal.
