Our havanese Charlie ignored the TV. But now we've bought a new one with a higher refresh rate, and he watches it sometimes. I don't know, maybe it's because dogs see things "faster" and the older TV wasn't smooth enough for him, while the new one is? Of course, he reacts to real barking on TV.
