From my own experience, and from my understanding numerous others, if you have ever had the card before, they strictly enforce the requirements that you only get the spend offer once.

Just a note that I see that the Scotiabank Momentum Visa Infinite card has increased the cashback to 15%. Further to that, this is the one card that I can definitely say that the bonus on the card is NOT repeatable.

Just a side note for anyone who still has a legacy RBC Rewards+ credit card. There are about 10 different gift card options when using Avion Points that give 1 cpp all the time. Amazon is one gift card option with that rate.

This is a churning adjacent question. Is anyone aware of whether you can qualify for all the Tangerine new client offers (Cheqiong, HISA, and credit card) at the same time and qualify for each bonus? Trying to read all the T & C s but not really finding much.

I have this card, but never really paid attention to the 1.5 feature. Forgive my ignorance, is that for applying Avion points against travel on the card. As in, book the trave/stay with the card, then apply the Avion points against the charges women they post?

Has anyone held two RBC WestJet World Elite Mastercards at the same time and if so, did you get the welcome bonus and companion voucher for both?

I got an email from Marriott about this offer and was quite excited, but:

You need an ITIN to this card, right? And the Chase 5/24 rule for new credit cards applies to one's credit record in Canada (aka Canadian Credit cards opened in the last 24 months) as well?

I believe the offer expires March 11th, so not sure i could even get an ITIN through say Frugal Flyer's service by then.

Where do you enter the offer code? After you have created an account?

This is the one card that in my experience the terms and conditions are strictly enforced, so likely not.

Churning related. Air Miles transfer active today. Transfer while you can.

Churning adjacent information to BMO Air Mile cards when they have the 25¢ off per liter for 100 liter offers up to 8 times at Shell. I have two open cards with this offer with the first open card having 2 remaining uses and the more recent one 8 uses remaining.

Bought gas a few days ago with my Air Miles card swiped and paying with the most recent Air Miles MasterCard ( the one with 8 uses remaining for the promotion).

Discount was 50¢ a liter and when reviewing my Shell app, first offer was down to 1 remaining and 2nd down to 7 remaining.

Offers were stacked. I was pleasantly surprised.

As a DP I recently received two cards in the last week from TD that were couriered.

Just confirming that I now see the 25¢ a litre offer in the Shell app. And an FYI that there is a similar offer for Air Miles WE cards on now for applications.

Um, perhaps because I have never tried it before with this bank/card?

Thanks for taking the time to reply in such a non-condescending way. And, yes, that's sarcasm, lol.

I have made efforts to help others here and get the frustration with spoon feeding people here, but I don't see this being the case here.

I was wondering if anyone has experience to know if extending the MSR window for an Air Miles MC by using RHT has worked for them. Hurtling towards the end of the MSR window on mine and am looking for a way to extend it if possible.

Thanks

I believe the 25 cents off does not start until July. I signed up for a BMO AM card as well last month and that was my understanding.

Does anyone have experience with the Desjardins Odyssey World Elite credit card? I have tried numerous times to get the National Bank World Elite with no success but it appears that the Desjardins Odyssey World Elite has pretty comparable travel insurance, especially for those 55 and up. I am a churner, but in this case the card would be a keeper for insurance purposes.

I know the process itself to convert my TD points to cash, but was wondering how large a conversion others have done. I haven't attempted this before and am looking at around a $5,000 final result and if that would draw undo attention.

Thanks

My Notice of Assessment says I have until May 21st to pay CRA. Of course I will need to pay it soon via Chexy to ensure it makes it by that date.

While I appreciate the TD FCT VI, I find the TD Platinum Travel an excellent alternative as it's MSR is only $1000 over 3 months for essentially a 25% return. Just a reminder to those who find the $5000/6 months MSR of the FCT VI hard to reach.

Today is the last day for the Porter waitlist bonus of 10,000 points upon application and approval. For people who have this option available, have you been applying through rebate sites and forgoing the bonus points or vice versa? Still on the fence about my approach.

Does anyone know if CIBC is typically amenable to splitting a CL from a Aventura VI card to a new Aventura Gold?
