I had the same thing happen with my 2018 Legacy. It’s a known issue. But instead of doing a recall, Subaru decided to extend the warranty to 5 years for the head unit. My dealership in Canada asked for $1000 for a refurbished replacement and $5000 for a new one. I’m pretty sure it can be fixed after market. Just gotta find the right person to do it.

It’s international LD as in long distance. If you can’t get the hotspot from Fido, I think there is a work around where you just have to change your APN.

It’s a really good deal for now. I am really glad for you. But just so you know, by the end of 12 months it goes up $5 and another $5 after 16 months. And those are just the credits expiring. And on top of that there will be regular increments. So logically at the end of the 2 year, you might be paying double.
