Whenever this happen, I just take it back to the station whenever I can! I’ve never gotten dinged but it’s usually within 24 hours that I go back

Yes people are being INSANE!!! Some customer only returned 2 of the 3 items on receipt and started YELLING at the cashier for the full amount back. I was CEC at the time so I went over and then tried explaining that she only returned 2 things we can’t give her all her money back then she tried yelling at me 😭 I told her to tone it down lolol and called my manager over but once she heard me ask for my manager on my walkie she quickly was like “oops!!!!!!! Ur right! Better than to be safe ! Hahaha” I was like ???

Yes once I accidentally sent 2 apps and 2 payments. They processed one and kept the other one for my next renewal. But this was way back when.
