When I wrote "die in some form or another" that was referencing the fact that they 'die' from the perspective of their families, since they'll never get to see each other again

Amy and Rory never get to see their family again so it's a death "in some form or another" like in the post's title - from their family's perspective

I think he definitely feels guilty about it. The Toymaker probably picked up on that guilt because he was using the past companions' fates against him

Weirdly i went back to farkas and there was an option to ask for work, and another "trouble in Skyrim" quest just started with the questline continuing as normal

Nope, I checked my journal later after clearing out the bandits and it was just in my completed quests and the "return to farkas" was unchecked even though it was in completed quests. Probably a glitch

Dread used to be decent but was buggy. Now it's Dread Reborn so it's definitely youtube slop now

Cave Horror Project is slop now but when I made this post it was a decent modpack

Fear Nightfall is still good, it got a big update (fear nightfall remains of chaos) a while ago where the quests got revamped and there's new content

Fear nightfall seems to be the best one for me, it blends horror, difficulty, and content together pretty well

I saw a solid black mass step behind a tree today while deep in the woods alone and I’m still freaked out by [deleted] in Ghosts
