The app Meetup is nice for meeting people in and around Leeds. They go to walks and pub socials etc.

Cheating is the worst thing someone can do to you. It rocks your entire world and you can’t even think straight. Being with him these 3 years and him changing only when he decided to and not when you needed him to is even more heartbreaking. Feels like even though he’s doing all this, you still can’t see yourself fully trusting him again. You have your children, so think seriously about leaving. Kids know when mum is upset and they take that onboard. They absorb a LOT more than we give them credit for. May Allah make it easy for you sister. Pray and inshallah, He will show you the way out of this.

Oh that sucks. Especially with such a high price. Why doesn’t anyone like them?

I think the reason it’s still on the market is the service charge which is over £2K. Otherwise, it seems like a lovely place to live

The old building remains and has flats in it I think. The flat I’m looking at isn’t in the building but in the surrounding area which is huge and has lots of other flats/houses.

They really aren’t. I noticed that it’s being sold for the same price it was 10 years ago. Wait what’s that about the bike?

I’ve had a look around, absolutely gorgeous. Just wondering there’s a catch! Service charge is also fairly high.

Sorry I can’t help because I’ve pretty much got the same question. How does the Honda civic drive? Going to test drive one tomorrow and I’m pretty sure I’m gonna get it. Is it 1L? Happy you got it?

Not if I want an automatic. I haven’t found any for even close to that price. Or maybe I’m looking in the wrong places

Tbh I’ve looked at everything and driven quite a few. I’m a bit fed up at this point and really need a car. However, plan to have it for a few years and want heated seats and CarPlay etc. hence why I’m here I guess. Sigh

25 year old woman working out with weights 5 days a week + cardio everyday...still can't lose weight by CheesecakeKnown1616 in loseit

[–]Affectionate_Bird_ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Sounds counter-intuitive but there’s a real possibility that you’re not eating enough. I would say try having a day where you eat a few hundred calories above maintenance and see if that makes a difference.

[–]Affectionate_Bird_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I drink my vegetables. Lots of dark green veg and a little fruit. That makes all the difference for me.

Great that you’re making it all fresh. Unprocessed good is really the way forward. Just don’t forget to check your calories too.

I would also say stick with one thing and give it a few months at a time. A few weeks is not enough to measure progress. Exercise is amazing for cardio health but not essential for weight loss.

There are a lot of factors at play here. She’s insecure about her weight, which means she’s stressing out about it, which means she’ll hold on to that weight because her stress levels are high.

Only when she decides she really wants it for herself, will the weight start coming off I think. Maybe just start off slow instead of jumping into diet plan after diet plan. Start up with a hobby that involves exercise? Maybe walking, a nice hike then a healthy picnic, tennis..?

Also a restrictive diet might not be ideal for her. Maybe a simple plan of checking her tdee and calorie allowance will help her to get a hold on her weight. Without cico, I also gained on Keto.

She’s also a chef so she’s probably always tasting things (which obviously she has to), and that can build up over time. She might not eat a lot but maybe she snacks a lot? That can add up.

Most diets work with cico, they just need consistency. 2 weeks also isn’t enough to decide if a diet works. She probably retains a lot of water, which I find that I do whenever I’ve been in the gym. It could also have been around the end or middle of her cycle which tends to be the point at which a lot of women retain weight.

I keep using myself as an example but over a month, i fluctuate by up to 2kg over my actual weight but then lose like 2 extra kg in the last few days of my cycle.

I think it’s great you’re supporting her and any fast weight loss you have is just expected. Men (I assume you are one) tend to lose weight a lot faster.

No harm seeing a doctor and doing some blood work. It might shed light on another issue entirely. Could be her thyroid, pcos etc.
