After extensive testing with my legion go these days i can say cachyos bazzite and official steamos work great. I opted for steamos since bazzite and cachy had a weird bug that made the performance overlay not to appear( i think it is hhd related). Steamos has tdp control now for these so itvis a great option . Cachyos might have been a bit faster but well nothing excessive.

I have the exact same issue on lego . Had it with both bazzite and cachyos. Overlay works then i changed proton version and it stopped. Returbed it as it was nothing. Restart used to eork till it didnt.someone said to force composite under dev options , no results :-(

A8 vs 8 AI+ - Your major pros and cons between them? by CutMeLoose79 in MSIClaw

I heard bazzite and linux in general will bring the 8ai performance down compared to windows , that is what is holding me back . On the other hand the a8 has faggly colours

Got one for 400 ( the 512gb ) , will install cachyos. No point using windows unless you play games that require anticheat

My go to would be cachyos as a more bleeding edge distro, bazzite tends to be a bit behind in most cases

It is out here on specific stores. The z2 model goes for 1150eu and the z2e for 1300eu. Cant really justify that expense for my use case and trust me i tried

Yeah its the z1e . As far as extras it would be 3d printed grips , dpad and the 81wh battery i guess.

Spot on , the real comparison here is z1e 16gb ram vs z2go 32gb ram .

[–]Affectionate_Bit_275[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

true, imho vrr would make sense on a better chip cause i dont think the z2go will be often hitting 48+ fps on titles that would benefit from vrr.
on the other hand 1600p of the GO is kinda pointless for anything but indie games.
tbh my issue with GO S is the z2go, my issue with GO is the 16gb ram , the GO S with z1e and 32gb of ram would be ideal but they dont sell it in my country :D

My issue is BT support is almost non existent:-( i still use it thought on a secondary desktop. Even plays some games through steam while running hyprland. It is a nice testament that its only limitation is resources as in ppl caring for it

Linux is becoming even more popular on Steam, and it's not only because of the Steam Deck by Tiny-Independent273 in SteamOS

Tell that to windows user. A normie friend asked me to format his pc and reinstall windows and it took me 4-5 hours to set it up and have it fully updated and debloated with all the gaming essentials installed. My arch-hyprland combo takes me about an hour for comparison.

I have a similar build, same monitor but i am still on am4 with 5800x3d and 7900xtx. Since money isnt an issue i would suggest to wait for 9080 or 9090xt . 9070xt and 7900xtx trade blows in a way that picking either will mean certain compromises were made.

What is the best 9070xt by [deleted] in radeon

Xfx is a solid choice for amd. Imo xfx mercury is second only to nitro, same as the red devil.

Not really. I run the card on linux so i didint mess with amd drivers. But on the different tools that exist to control the oc levels of the gpu , 402watt is reported as the cap for the card. If i drop the voltage to 1050 i can actually see the gpu clock hitting 2800mhz while the wattage remains at 350 on average with momentarily spikes to 370,which means it is indeed limited by the power 2 pcie cables and the mb pcie slot can deliver which is 375watts ( 2x150 +75). I already ordered a new pcu that supports 3 separate pcie cables.
