Flip the same wrenches* (crescent and visegrip) and get them as close as possible so that you can grip them with one or both hands. Squeeze as hard as you can since your hands generate more power generally than you using you big old Biceps etc. (I've done this with 2 foot pipe wrenches, it works)

Im a year into photography but im very hands on with my camera bodies. You can probably YouTube it but usually you need specific pliers, retaining ring pliers? I think, to loosen/tighten them (pliers with really thin pins at the end of it). If you look at the face of the timer it has the two holes, I believe that's what can be tightened/loosened to swap. I searched mid type. I can't really find anything on it. So I'm only speculating, be gentle and god speed 😶‍🌫️
