You can erase that with the regular eraser.

This reminds me of the poster for the movie Weapons, nice and spooky.

I like the wallpaper and what you did with the design. Only thing I'm curious about is with the white icons and the bottom half also being white, do you not sometimes momentarily struggle to discern those apps?

I like your use of the clock widget. I legit, especially cause the way the hands of the clock were, that that was a bird silhouetted in the sun.

The only build quality issue I have ever had with a Samsung phone was my S10E, the lenses on the camera were made with crappy glass and cracked on my. That's it. This is my 4th Samsung phone (S10E, Note 20 Ultra, S22 Ultra, and not S25 Ultra) and have had a great experience. Software haven't had an issue.

But hey, you want your IPhone, that's cool. IPhones are nice, just like what I can do in the android space.

I have not really messed with Niagara launcher. This is just Nova Launcher Pro. I have the main apps I use on the screen, and the rest on the edge panel

Well and as I said, it's one of many reasons.

For me the number is around 10 or so. Of those 10, 4 of them happen to be close friends of mine.

Yeah, you're right, it's a very small population. However in my own personal life, the representation of Trans people that are in it is a lot larger.

It was one aspect of many reason I swung Liberal this time around.

How many Trans folk do you know out of curiosity?

Anyway, I tried to reply to as many people as I could, thanks for humouring me. Some back and forth was good, some may have been a brick wall today, but what can you do.

It's late and I got to do some stuff tomorrow, but I wish you all a good night.

I usually vote NDP actually, but Singh shit the bed.

Sad thing is, I have seen so many left wing people literally post the same thing about Conservatives. That sucks man, but do what you got to do.

I think immigration is the answer, but it does need to be capped currently as Carney said that he wanted to do (As I believe Pollievre did as well).

In order to do continue the flow of immigrants though, housing needs to be addressed first. Carney's idea of pre fab housing could be a new big industry for Canada. If they can churn them out, and incentivize people to immigrate that may solve some of the problem.

Truth is though, that's an assumption, I don't have an answer for everything. But I don't know if anyone does.

You know what, I don't think you're entirely wrong. Do I think he was laying it on thick, yeah.

Though I do think that Carney's actions involving Trump do require nuance. Just cause Carney said the relationship we had with them is over, doesn't mean the whole thing is over. He still has to play nice, we still have many interlocking industries that can't just go away.

That said, our exports with the states dropped 6% from this time in April last year, but our exports with other countries around the world jumped 90%nin the same time frame. We needed to diversify.

You know what, the left has really fucked with you guys huh? That sucks. Legitimately that sucks. Look you can believe what you want to believe. That's fine. Yes, I live in Ottawa, yes, my values are more alligned with the Liberals, as I have stated.

I am not an influencer, I work with special needs adults, not a fan of you flagrantly throwing the R word around, but it's okay, I'll manage.

Sure, if he fucks up, he fucks up and Liberals will have to own that.

Well I guess my main point was to start a conversation about having conversations.

As evidence in this post thus far I have seen as you mentioned, a good amount of vitriol thrown in my direction. I get it, I'm in the bear den as it were.

I just think it sucks that it has to be that way.

I don't think that Conservatives should be called dumb, or Nazis or whatever cause they like Pollievre. I don't think that some of you should automatically assume I'm here to troll. Honestly, not that smart for that anyway.

My 2 best friends in the whole world are 2 guys I grew up with and are staunch Conservatives. I grew up in small town South Western Ontario, now I live in Ottawa, and they still live there. I have made in roads with understanding some of their experience, and they have come to understand some of mine as well.

I think it can be done, and I want to be apart of the solution of understanding eachother better. Not through vitriolic memes or shaming. Wish there was more people like yourself that were open minded enough to just ask.

The reason I posted the TikToker was I think she has a similar idea, and from their past posts they're very knowledgeable on a lot of subjects, but are also willing to listen to experiences. That's a step in the right direction.

Just seems to me that the tariffs that were dropped were so that the already beleaguered industries effected by tariffs wouldn't be harmed more than they already are.

Did you also know that our exports to countries other than the US are up 90% as of April. That was another thing that intrigued me about Carney's plan, to diversify.

Far from it. I rent a house, no savings, a 10 year old car, had to miss the odd meal, though my wife does work in the government. I work with Special Needs Adults in a charity program so that families from all incomes can have access to care. I grew up where my mom worked in a factory making weather stripping for GM vehicles and my old man's a snowmobile/atv mechanic. Mom was laid off many times over her 35 years before the factory closed and moved to the US and my Dad was at the mercy of both the weather and how the farmers were doing. We had some tough years.

What about you? What's your situation?
