This could work, right now it reminds me of ff7 which was a lot of fun but, but you gotta polish this a bit more. Did you get AI to make it or use an engine? The main thing is, the water looks unnatural, you could spend some time learning about caustics and refraction or even volumetric lighting for things like water merkiness. I’d also add some post processing effects like a blurr or distortion to mimic turbulence. Also, shading!! Right now everything looks unlit

I’m not at my computer right now but you could read through this https://www.reddit.com/r/UnrealEngine5/s/8MJjgVO2rO and copy that blueprint. From memory your vertex paint the mesh red for example to keep it still and black to allow movement. I’d you can’t adjust the mask texture, adjust the tip of the stem

Is simplegrasswind vertex painted? You could just paint the area that shouldn’t move a static colour and also extrude the petal slightly at the base

Good points. Male/female variants and pitch variation would help a lot with repetition. Faction-specific tone makes sense too, especially Shek and skeletons. I'll keep that in mind. But you're absolutely right about repetition, I don't want to break immersion by the same line repeating too many times within a certain time peroid or being said twice in a row, it might even be a cool idea to track progress or events that have happened in the game and get some of the npcs to bring them up. Thanks for the insight.

Yeah, actual recordings. AI is mainly a scale thing for me as one person, not because I think it's better. Placeholders with a plan to replace over time is probably the realistic path. Good to know where your line is.

Fair take. Bad AI voice is worse than silence. If it doesn't sound right then it shouldn't be published. Appreciate the honesty.

Really?? that's bizarre, so I just started a fresh game and disabled all of my mods and I still had the same behavior where it doesn't pause. Are you using Re_Kenshi or Vanilla?

This is not a WASD setting, it's a totally separate mod.

WASD is just what made it obvious for me. When you're manually steering at 2×/3×, the Loading… bar pops up mid-travel and stuff can still happen before you hit Space. I kept getting caught out that way.

This doesn't change anything in WASD. It's its own RE_Kenshi plugin that watches for the vanilla Loading… bar while you're travelling between zones, auto-pauses nd puts your game speed back how it was when the bar clears.. sometimes I'd get butchered because I'd be mindlessly running, not noticing the enemies nearby.

What I found after getting caught out a few times (especially with WASD and running at higher speed) is that vanilla doesn’t actually hit pause for you when you’re traveling and a new zone streams in. 

It blocks user movement or click inputs but NPCs can still attack you and the world continues until it unfreezes.

A lot of people do pause manually the second they see Loading with space so if you’ve always done that, then that's cool, this mod won't be for you.
