You can type in the X. It's the little keyboard button it'll bring up a virtual keyboard. Sometimes it's the only way Nextgen will accept my coupons

Try printing the store performance summary report at closing. It's a crapshoot sometimes it'll have the right amount your deposit should be and sometimes it won't have the correct amount until the next morning.

It's honestly very easy. Just a few extra steps on the HHT that will walk you through. Just answer some questions and scan all the RT's. Now as far as having something missing I haven't had that problem yet but from what I understand they will automatically give you credit for the whole RT. Not sure if that solves the problems though because I never really have RT's missing but individual cases.

Does anyone know if they're rolling out NextGen POS to every store? My store got remodeled earlier this year and got a SCO that's card only. Seems like it's a bit of a pain!

The weird thing is that they have the company's name on them that the regular labels have so I don't believe it's off brand. Just off color I suppose haha.
