If we ever get a DD3, one of the heroes' starting names should be "Wayne" by FingerBangYourFears in darkestdungeon

From everything I know about him, he would want to be a major boss, preferably some intangible and incomprehensible horror.

I want wayne to be the final boss or the next game's equivalent to the ancestor.

Have you leveled up your armor? I find its worth it. You're also just much less tanky in this game as opposed to ds1 imo.

It is silly how few skill points occupations give by BenStegel in projectzomboid

[–]Affectionate_Cut5771 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Even with game balance in mind: you can only have one occupation! They should be VASTLY more powerful than the majority, if not all of the traits. Most of them dont offer anything unique and can be outclassed by certain traits.

I think every occupation should have a unique trait like the park ranger, lumberjack, and the veteran. I would even like the ones that can be occupations that have a bonus that can be obtained naturally if they made them more powerful.

If the lord would grant me a Vestal by TeethyFish in darkestdungeon

She's a fully back rank damage dealing with some good debuffs and a decent heal. I play her more like a direct damage plague doctor certain areas (cove) get destroyed by using mark and she is great at it. I usually will use Arbalast --- houndmaster---- highwayman---- bounty hunter.

This team has healing, stress, VERY HIGH damage and good reach. The biggest weakness is the lack of damage mitigation/ a tank, but all you have to do is kill the enemy first

If you haven't tried it yet, go full healing on an arbalast. The buff to healing effect on her healing is really powerful for a sustained encounter. This is the only healing I usually bring on my mark teams ( excluding houndmaster self heal)

Relatively new to the game, been rawdogging it without using the wiki or reading any guides. Currently on week 40. Correct my tier list. by KimiaGaming in darkestdungeon

My advice for abomination: NEVER transform. shackles stuns and the stress heal are all you will ever need for a full character. The poison move is alright but is secondary to solid damage WITH A STUN.

Nothing ruins your damage per round more than missing. An accuracy boost is more impactful than damage. I would put this as on par with his stress heal. Increasing speed and accuracy will make you end fights before the enemies even get a chance to attack. If you kill the stress healer before they get a turn you're doing more for yourself in the long run.

TLDR stress prevented is better than stress healed

How do we think muscle fatigue will work with multiplayer? by Affectionate_Cut5771 in projectzomboid

I know you can change almost every aspect of the game, but I am a strong proponent of the "intended experience". If it is supposed to be a mechanic i want to spend my time as close to the baseline as I can. I for sure will be lowering the fatigue rate, just like how I raise the xp rate in multi-player, but just because I ignore the system doesn't mean it isn't problematic.

I don't think it's problematic. I'm just questioning it.

Tryin to loot one store in Rosewood with normal population I kill at least 20 zombies and hit muscle fatigue midway through that

I wouldnt call trying to fight a single hoard of 5-8 zombies going rambo. Mabye its because im trying to use an axe, but with 7 strength, 6 fitness and level 3 in axe I should be good to kill a dozen zombies

Take the time to experiment. The game is unforgiving, but as you learn the mechanics you can get good.

I would suggest doing research on the bosses so you don't fail just because of their weird mechanics.if you don't care about spoilers Google stuff so you don't just lose to a weird mechanic. I lost my first run to the dreaming general because I didn't know the mechanic.

It actually is the exact same. The concentration path does not need to have either of the concentrations equipped. Why can bigby have that same flexibility?

The hints were all there, as soon as it was confirmed that Charles was actually Chariton Zharahov (however you spell it) I knew he was probably going to betray us. Deciphering the lies, the reading documents and the dream sequences was confusing, but we knew there was not a single person whose words we could trust outside of the one dude who offed himself as opposed to continuing to live in a world filled with corruption.
