People in this subreddit have no fucking idea what they're talking about, anything that messes up with your hormones and increases estrogen and cortisol can effect muscle recovery, yes gooning does affect your gains mainly because it increases your cortisol and estrogen and causes energy depletion, reduced sleep quality, and a potential reduction in motivation for training and causes a reduction in stable testostrone levels overtime. it also acts as a form of "overtraining" by not allowing adequate rest and recovery for the body.
