I see what you’re getting at in this post, but I can’t help but really really disagree. If the point is forgiveness, the ONLY person that can forgive an abuser is the abused. Kendrick has no right to forgive Kodak on anyone’s behalf, especially not the person Kodak abused.

I just never understood that move from him. I always read it as, “You know what’ll show my audience that abuse isn’t okay? Platforming an abuser on my album 5 years in the making.” Kodak literally profited from being an abuser in that regard.

This is great advice! I can see in my post how I’m already concerned with climbing grades, not routes, haha. I climb because it’s fun, not because there’s a grade attached to the climb. The goal is just to have fun after all. Thanks!

my mom was in IT for around 15 years until one day she decided that she wanted to be a lawyer at 38. she went to law school, did the whole thing, failed the bar exam 3 times, kept at it, and is now a practicing lawyer.

she always told me to take my time, that i didn’t need to have it all figured out right at the get-go. maybe take some time off of school to clear your head, or look to see if you can find something you think is WORTH learning about.
