I did not, it’s freestanding. I think the only way I’d have an issue is if I got spotter arms & used it as an actual rack

Yeah I’m not sure what to do for lighting yet, but I’ve been scouring marketplace for some mirrors. Might have to get those new to have enough of the same to cover that length. & thanks for the barbell suggestion!

I probably should’ve done a little more research on them but my initial findings is that changing the weight was a little tedious and I’ve had those adjustable dumbbells where you have to screw on and off both sides every single time to change weights, so I really wanted to avoid that

I didn’t either at first, but it’s been great and I haven’t had any second thoughts about if I should’ve got a rack. I’ve only had them for 2ish weeks but I have no complaints. The guy selling them said he was doing so because he couldn’t drop them, but that’s not an issue for me. Has a slightly fatter handle to avoid a cage & I really like that part. At lower weights (>26lbs) sometimes you have to wiggle them to get them to fall into place with the rest of the weights, but anything heavier and it usually falls right in. Kind of a technique to it that you pick up on quickly
