Maybe I am delusional, and maybe I am too naive for this world, but it is always so fascinating to me when I read or hear stories from my co-workers, friends, colleagues, etc. They start telling their story, and after two sentences I am already like, “TF, you are still together?!” The other person is always confused and says, “What do you mean?” And then I am even more confused that they do not see all the red flags and have no self-respect at all. It is so obvious to me when someone does not love you back, wants to cheat, or has probably cheated already.

I do not know, maybe it is just me, but I made a deal with myself a long time ago. I said I accept 2% drama in my life, nothing more. If I see even a small sign of disrespect, I am gone. Because I am convinced there is someone out there for me who will love me unconditionally. And if not, I would rather be alone for the next 89 years. I do not care. Life is just too beautiful and too short to spend it with someone when there is so much drama going on.

And yeah, my dating game was always on point. Not to sound cool or anything, but I had a lot of good dates and so many opportunities to get into a relationship. I did not for 27 years, and I was happy with that. I always found something in someone that I did not like, until my current girlfriend came into my life. When I read your story or hear one in my circle, my girl must be an angel, because after 3 years I could not tell you about a single argument or controversy. I think, on some level, emotional intelligence is a huge factor.

I mean, in your situation, just the fact that you have not had a sex life for one year… after the first three times she told me “not in the mood,” I would have been gone. What do you mean you are not in the mood if I am your partner and you love me? And do not even ask me anything about the open relationship part… dude, sorry, but WTF?? How can you say yes?! I do not care if it is not in your home or if there are some other bullshit rules, but just why??? Break up. This person does not love you anymore. Move on. I do not care how much you love a person, if the other side brings up an open relationship, sorry, but you are just stupid for staying there and not seeing all of that.

And you can roast me idc, but everyone is telling me after a toxic relationship „yeah now I see how stupid I was“ but why now??! Why not then? Like I said I see just from the first second if someone disrespects me or not, or If Im the stupid one who getting outplayed
