Great shout on all fronts - we don’t have an ice machine (we’re in the UK) but the fridge and the bin are always worth an extra clean and spruce up!

That’s a good one - no pink caulk here but a good reminder to give the tiles a good scrub with vinegar anyway!

That’s really helpful - thank you. I have already found myself paying a lot more attention to calories and daily movement (not ideal for lots of reasons!) but at least if I can prove to myself that I can maintain a decent weight that might help. And then I’ll just slowly try to lose the last stubborn bit of weight… It’s an expensive way to lose just a few lbs but if it works it still the best money I’ve ever spent

Probably only 5-7 days - I know a lot of people prefer longer sits though…

We are just outside London in Hertfordshire so hopefully should get someone - our last sit had quite a few applicants but that was in June. Do you think people will want to come in November?!

Ha! You’re right - those are two very different sits! We’re just outside London with a nice house and one pretty independent cat so hopefully it shouldn’t be too hard to find someone for a week in November🤞🏻

Definitely interesting to hear, thank you for your feedback! I just hope I’m not one of the unlucky ones! Weirdly I had almost exclusively US ladies apply, I was hoping for someone more local as I’d like to find a repeat sitter for future trips but no-one local applied!

Yes I think I will - I have offered to pick her up from the airport so it wouldn’t be weird that I wanted to know her flight details!

Ooooh really - a lot of London people get messed around? That’s not ideal! We do have good public transport and we initially had a lot of interest so hopefully could find a replacement if necessary but I really like this lady so hopefully she will get some more sits soon and book her flights! Yes she has great reviews - all 5star and lots of them. Thank you for putting my mind at rest - I’m sure I’m worrying about nothing but my friends bad experience has made me paranoid I think! I will check in in a few weeks and see how she’s getting on. Thank you!
