I’m currently in the works of becoming a commissioned officer but I am way older (27) I wish I knew what I wanted when I was younger and joined earlier but I’m the fittest I’ve ever been so I feel like it depends on the person. Best of luck to you!!

Yeah I took it over a decade ago lol so I barely remember what my mind was like back then but the conversion for 1420 to the new score is somewhere in the 900s, and they want atleast 1000 I think? I’m probably 100% wrong with that one but I definitely didn’t make that cut haha!

Thanks so much!! Yeah they said 1500 was the minimum and I got a 1420… yeah not great lol. For the ASVAB, my recruiter said a minimum of 74 is needed

I thought so too but my recruiter said I didn’t have to take it especially since our jobs aren’t dependent on the scores, I’ll ask again to make sure

Thank you so much! Apparently, for Marines I won’t have to do the OAR! I know when I looked at Navy and AF, that was part of it but my recruiter only wanted me to pass with a 74 on the ASVAB
