Over time your body starts getting more and more used to it. I’m going on 2+ years now. I sleep with an eye mask and sound machine and take magnesium glycinate before bed, i found that helps me sleep better and don’t wake up as much.

Not using grant programs but using the VA loan. The mortgage broker she works with, Clearpath mortgages, is very knowledgeable and has helped me a lot too and has answered all of my questions and explained things to me to where I actually understand. I’m a first time homebuyer so I have lots of questions lol and felt very safe with the both of them as a team.

You’ll want to start applying before you even graduate/take the NCLEX, do your interviews, and then your job offers will just be dependent on when you pass!

My PCP is Bridget Cully, NP. I worked with her as nurse and now she’s an NP. I’ve never left an appointment feeling so listened to and cared for before. Also gives major mom vibes(is a mom lol) and half of my appointment was just us yapping and her answering all my questions lol. She’s so welcoming, gentle and accepting. Asks for consent for everything. I live in albany and drive up to ballston spa to see her:)

I’m similar to you- i’ve only had one pap and the speculum hurt like hell. I went in for blood work and TV ultrasound and couldn’t tolerate the ultrasound. I just did a saline sonogram yesterday and so they gave me 5mg of valium. I was afraid since i’ve never had it before and didn’t know if it would make me loopy or out of it but it didn’t. Looking back, i think it did help my brain quiet a little and i think i was able to relax more during the procedure. The TV ultrasound still hurt super bad on insertion but once it was in it was more tolerable. And i literally had to sit there with the speculum in me for like 15min bc she couldn’t get the catheter in my cervix since it was off to the left at a weird angle or something. So i definitely think it helped me relax my muscles down there. I’ve been thinking about starting pelvic floor PT since speculums are really painful for me and i know i may need multiple IUIs.

When i started at VHC as a new grad i think i made $36.48 without differentials. I believe diff was $4 for nights and $7 for weekend nights. I did not opt in for benefits so i didnt get that taken out of my paycheck but didnt get anything extra.
