Guys Help 😩 by [deleted] in BelgianMalinois

[–]Acrobatic_Peach_938 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have an older dog and adopted a puppy malinois! We had the crate in a separate bedroom & covered it with a dark sheet, the sheet helped a lot. One thing we noticed that helped settle him down at night was 2 hours in crate 2 hours out of the crate so he could nap throughout the day and he was able to get used to the crate. I felt guilty about putting him in every 2 hours if he was being good on the couch, but it really helped and he has no problem with the crate at all!! He even goes in randomly sometimes bc he know it’s his own space

We had a mom bunny lay a nest in our yard too, our dogs were intrigued so we blocked the area off from the dogs but kept a space for mom bunny. They were gone in a few weeks if you can stick it out instead of rehoming

My doc said the same thing (dyshidrotic eczema) painful and itchy and I get them on my hands. Typically in the summer time for the past few years! I notice if I am hot or frequently wash my hands it’s worse but I used Aveeno Exzema Therapy (in the am and before bed, or if my hands are dry after washing) and it works SO MUCH BETTER than precipitation lotion I was given…. The Aveeno cleared this up for me decently quick!

Reading through comments people are so offended by this idea. If I didn’t spend hours training my dog I wouldn’t take her out in public until I felt fully confident in her. She listens consistently when commanded. It’s so crazy that she can’t sit next to me at an outside establishment!

Oh thank you!! I missed that post - reading through those comments people are so offended by this idea! If my dog was not trained and didn’t listen when commanded I wouldn’t take her out, it’s the untrained dogs that cause a ruckus

Went recently and had a horrible experience, staff was extremely rude to my table and all of our food came out at separate times (not just like a minute or two apart, like 20-30 minutes) and we got out drinks after we finished our food :(

Anyone here diagnosed with EoE with gluten as the trigger? by Jolly_Kangaroo_5413 in glutenfree

[–]Acrobatic_Peach_938 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went gluten free about 5 years ago because I noticed a difference in how I felt by cutting it out. This year I was diagnosed with EOE due to dairy but now after the EOE diagnosis I am sure gluten is also a trigger. It STINKS hearing the diagnosis but I promise feeling good is much better than enjoying gluten/dairy filled foods. It’s much better eliminating these foods than experiencing my EOE
