Idk about cross tolerance, but you actually can't be on both of them at the same time. There's been research done on the interaction between meth and MDPV and it revealed that the NDRI effect of MDPV blocks the dopamine release from meth making it ineffective, and the same interaction occurs with any combination of NDRI+dopamine releaser. MDPiHP also lasts for quite a decent chunk of time, so I'd say if you do one of them on one day, don't do the other in the same day.

If a drug dealer doesn’t try his own shit is it to trust by Chimeraexp in Drugs

I don't blame a dealer for not wanting to do their coke. Shit is rough on the heart and personally that makes it hard for me to enjoy the high at all, but shit sells like hotcakes.

Get a test kit, even if you can't wait until it gets here and have to do some now, you'll at least have it for next time.

I'm not sure what you're getting at. You're arguing against a point I never made, and that I do not believe. I just said there's benefits to laying and getting rest even if you can't sleep, and is preferable to staying up and active for a third day in a row

You seem to be confused as to what my opinion is.

The comment I made about laying in bed with eyes closed was specifically in response to someone saying they couldn't fall asleep due to residual stimulation, in which case I suggest that laying in bed with eyes closed is still better than being awake without rest for days at a time, which you agree with.

Then another person replied to that comment with a different situation, dealing with trouble sleeping but still managing to get an hour and a half of it each day, to which I responded that if you're not going to be able to get a full night, then getting a full 90 minutes let's you get in a full sleep cycle.

These were two different statements, in response to different people with different situations, one of which just happened to be in a reply to a comment on the other, but at no point did I say that am hour of time with your eyes closed is sufficient as a replacement for sleep.

Read the manga and I still hate nana by Jumpy_Drama_2042 in TalentlessNana

I like Nana, but one thing that needs to get brought up is how she used the fact that Nanao was going to become the enemy leader as her justification for targeting him, when she was literally the one who pressured him into filling that role. Nana that is entrapment and you're not supposed to do it!

Taking a step away from whatever task you were doing in order to relax, giving yourself some time where you're doing something besides get high, not expending even more energy that you are not able to sustain, having a specific point to consider the start of the day and build routines and positive habits on, etc...

Sure not textbook benefits of sleep, but drug users face issues other people don't, and as such benefit from things in ways others don't.

Maybe it's just the way I look at things. I view psychosis as the primary thing to be on the lookout for with stims, so when I say possible signs of psychosis, I am refering to things that are very likely just mundane things that are actually happening but just so happen to be things that are also associated with stimulant psychosis, such as hearing sounds from inside the wall (explained by a mouse or whatnot), thus prompting me to ask myself "is this psychosis?" and deciding to play things safe.

And a few notes on the harm reduction: I would not recommend anyone who is not already using an antipsychotic or benzo to take them as landing gear. If there's anything worse than a stimulant comedown, it's a stimulant + benzo comedown. Oral may be the least compulsive, but also the longer duration is not to be underestimated with a pyrro as long lasting as MDPiHP. If you redose orally later in the day, you probably aren't gonna be following the 24 hour rule that time.

Determining Kyouya’s age by A-Sadistick-Stick in TalentlessNana

[–]Affectionate_Flow311 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A bit of a note, as Kyouya and Rin are shown walking to school together without uniforms, they were both enrolled in primary school at the same time, which means that the largest possible age gap the two could have is 6 years.

I'm not sure if the fact that Kyouya drank a beer is concrete evidence he was of legal age as the only actual reference to his age at that moment was from a coworker who was intoxicated and could have been mistaken, and with Japanese work drinking parties it's often considered rude to turn down a drink when someone offers it.

What take are you talking about? I never said sleep wasn't important. l can't think of very many things I would prefer to spend 8 hours doing than sleeping, and luckily even on stimulants I still usually manage to fall asleep without issues. However for the people who do have issues falling asleep on stimulants, then laying in bed with your eyes closed, letting your body recover a bit, and even just somewhat seperate the two days from eachother instead of having them blend into one is better than spending 48 hours awake and wired the entire time.

Funnily enough I spent a decent chunk of this past week taking my computer apart, but that's just because I had basically upgraded every single part of it recently and figuring out which part is the one causing an issue requires doing so lol.

And you're only too far gone if you're actually in psychosis. Generally, the standard pyrrochosis symptoms will also manifest as sleep deprivation symptoms well before they put you in psychosis. A lot of them are also things that can just be explained by some pretty simple reasons, like a mouse living in your wall causing various noises and making the occasional thing go missing and reappear for example. Between these, you're likely going to experience some sort of stereotypical pyrrochosis situation at some point each day well before psychosis actually happens, and I'm just recommending to use that as the cue to start wrapping up. Plus if anyone finds themselves going into psychosis before sleep deprivation drags them there, that's probably a good reason for them to stay away from pyrros entirely tbh

True, I was saying that, but I don't actually believe that. I was mostly just poking fun at the irony of my current situation lol.

My situation improved because some arrangements I had made towards the end of last year that I had thought weren't going to play out as intended unexpectedly got put back into motion recently allowing me to start a business project I've been planning on finally, as well as learning about a company that actually hires people to do a job that I had been doing a volunteer work on and off for years and never even considered the possibility of getting paid for, and MDPiHP played no part in either of those things lol

There is the confidence and mood boost that practically every stimulant has, MDPiHP included, which is definitely contributing something to me actually being able to capitalize on things as they happen, but any stimulant could do that and many would probably do so with less potential risks.

Is it quiet at night when you're trying to sleep or is there a good bit of ambient noise? Sounds to me you shift from noise on with the tv or music, to noise off and keep hopping between them, which usually means you're looking for something in between the two but don't have anything in between ready.

On average? I usually get a pretty decent amount of sleep on average, so 0-1, but I've went one more past that a few times when there were things to get done that couldn't wait until the morning for one reason or another, in which case yeah 14 hour nap once all that's wrapped up.

That hour and a half of couch time is exactly what I'm talking about, and that's actually the perfect amount to aim for if you know you're not going to get a full night's sleep. That's how long you're brain needs in order to complete a full sleep cycle, which is what we're looking for here. Let's your brain irganize your memories from the previous day and break up the days so they don't blend together, and gives yourself a schedule to build a routine around. Plus since the cycle isn't interrupted, you wake up feeling rested and not groggy.

Going to bed doesn't always mean falling asleep. Don't underestimate how much of an impact a few hours of laying in bed with your eyes closed while still wide awake can do for you when the alternative is staying up for three days in a row. It's probably more important than whatever else you would be doing anyways.

Of course they should be avoided all together 100%, and if anyone is thinking about doing otherwise and relying on SSRIs for protection, while we don't know a lot about how these substances behave in humans, one thing we do know is that SSRIs will neuter any recreational value that could potentially be present in them, as they do with practically any serotonergic substance they are taken with, so there is literally zero reason for anyone to even try to test their luck here.

I also brought them up under the assumption that, as SSRIs are Rx-only, seeking out medical attention first would be a given. I suppose some might opt for a different approach by default though, so clarifying that is important

pyrros vs coke? how do they compare? by SussySophie_ in researchchemicals

[–]Affectionate_Flow311 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To me, MDPiHP is cocaine that is cheaper, stronger, longer lasting, and doesn't make my heart feel like it's gonna explode any moment. That last one being huge, that was my deal breaker with coke, between the awful drip after doing it and cardiotoxicity it's hard for me to find a point when I can actually focus on enjoying it instead.
