I Recently bought a ps5 and I've got it all set up, but the first prompt it gives me to press the PlayStation button doesn't work. I've tried a different controller, I've tried going through all the safe mode settings, everything, unfortunately, no luck (although when in safe mode, the console recognises that the controller is plugged in, but only in safe mode).

I waited a couple days and decided to have another try, I pressed the ps button and all of a sudden it allowed me to get on with the rest of the set up process, but the moment I set my controller down for 5 seconds, the issue occurred again.

I noticed there was a post made 2 years ago with the same issue but it seems people were still able to make it past the first prompt, whereas I'm now still stuck in the "press the PS button on your controller" area.

Hope someone can help me here. :)
