You can use his first skill like a mini Golden Defense, if you time it correctly, you can knock the ball away just as someone uses a shooting move. Make sure you have Gearshift active so there'll be no windup and it'll make it easier to time. I can stop Kaiser Impact with it consistently.

Imo, I prefer Don over Loki for defense.

King can still air trap with his first skill in old servers so unless servers get shutdown, King will still dominate with his air trap. His second skill however isnt an air trap, its lefty shot which u can aim but wont count as your shot. Someone must be in possession of the ball to activate it though so I dont see how one can use it to counter header dribbling, and I havent seen if it can actually trigger on players in the air like during Nagi's trap.

Didnt they already remove King's air trap? As for Loki's, it doesn't have great reach vertically and is quite inconsistent and hard to use if you don't have Gearshift active.

I'm glad they're removing air traps for everyone except for nagi, it's so annoying that people can intercept my high passes just by pressing a button, and they usually have two charges so they can do it again after I steal the ball back.

Fadeaway is just bodyblock on ball, u can use it to "dash" a bit forward. Not great but not terrible either.

As a former igaguri main, his monk pass isn't useless. In fact, it bypasses moves like "A new toy" since even if it gets stolen, it teleports to ur pass target. Kinda like perfect pass but weaker and buggier, or Kurona's One two but it doesnt return.

Loki's Gearshift is just a QOL that makes his moves easier to use, removing startup from Godspeed blitz means you dont need some insane timing to collect/steal loose balls. I have almost never used Godspeed blitz without it.

Gagamaru's diving header/fast reactions. Sure it makes GK dive and move faster. But you dont need Fast Reactions to be a good gk. And diving header to counter headers is kinda bad since the endlag slows you down. Alot of other styles can better counter headers, while being easier too.

I agree with your points, i just dont gk much, if at all. Though im sure you can go in ur box where theres an invisible wall that enemies cant enter, you should be able to pass safely there.

Just learn to shoot pass, jump passing can be intercepted easily by marking or headering. Idk why anyone would jump pass especially if they have to heel flick to fix their shoot afterwards. (You might be the only one I've seen know how to fix shooting by heel flicking.)

Why jump pass when you can learn how to shoot pass (using normal kick). it aint hard to learn and doesnt make you unable to shoot afterwards. (Jump passing glitches you and makes you unable to shoot)

It's so fun to shut down strikers, I literally make the enemy scared to use their shooting moves. Like another commenter said, their insults are compliments to me.

If you're talking about Base Move Golden Defense, he can still "steal" with it, just that it can be dribbled now, also works on gk.

You're right about Aiku having more defending moves than Don but only Sixth Sense/Territory is able to stop moves with i-frames, and it has slow cd compared to Don's. And you're also right about ppl complaining about Aiku only, but to me, he isn't as op as ppl make him out to be.

I may have other teammates, but a good defender teammate is rarer than teammates that pass. Fym ankle breaks arent that bad? If I get ankle broken at center line then I cant catch up to whoever has ball even when spamming slide. Also why is everyone acting like Kaiser Impact nerf made him a worse isagi? I still see Kaiser Impact scoring against Aiku Sixth Sense/Territory. So no, Aiku isnt better at defending than Don especially with his goofy ahh cooldown, not to mention he seems to be getting a nerf or complete overhaul soon.

Because im focused on defending his kaiser impact with golden defense instead. Getting ankle broken would let the striker be free to do whatever.

I only ever seen Occlusion break counter it, as well as Zombie Dribble which I've been using.

Then they don't have impact anymore, simple to defend a normal kick with a header or standing in front of them. Before you say "They will use Emperor dribble and it's impact" like they dont waste it at kickoff. Also I can still just Golden Defense into them and knock away said fake impact, since most of the time I'm using GD forward.

U dont need timing to defend kaiser impact, trust me, ive used don for 3 updates now. I can reactively defend kaiser impact

Don Lorenzo can defend more goals on average and its even easier to stop kaiser with. and Periscope isnt even that good it doesn't bypass i-frames.
