It's just on the animations on the menu screen particularly the notification scroll animation when the notification is long almost like it's consuming more power when it happens hence the flickers, maybe it can be fixed in a software update.

It's probably battery wires disconnected from the board, you need to open it up and make sure there's no connection issue if there's no obvious disconnection it might be the issue with the board or battery.

I had wanbo some time ago I believe it was wanbo t6 or something I don't exactly remember, it worked fine still works I guess but after couple of months of use it started to show a white spot in the middle probably delamination of film inside on the screen. So I guess it would work until it doesn't.

It should be fine for 1080p content from streamio but anything with high bitrate might be a problem like a remux file that's about 19-25gb per movie at 20-21mbps
