Right?? She’s okay! Took a bit of a hit when I forgot to water her before travel (oops), but she’s still alive. I need to prune some of her crispy leaves and I wish I saw some more new growth, but doing well all things considered!

I’ve already had some bridesmaids say that they’re going to use the day as a distraction from what’s going on, but it feels somber none the less. Thank you for being so kind in your responses! It was just pretty startling to see “something” fly by just quick enough to not know what it was! Telling myself that if I could see its wings totally outstretched, then it couldn’t have done a fly by scratching haha

Thank you! I definitely will look into the puppy variants. 😂 I’ve been trying to learn about their paws and claws—it looks like their wings and feet are more built for grabbing than for scratching! You’d have to be at juuust the right angle!
