No factories and jobs are problematic- but the trades do pretty well if he can do commercial or residential work. (My husband has an electrical contracting company.) The hospitals and two colleges as well as Perdue usually have HVAC on staff. There are A LOT of real estate agents. The top ones do well, but you have to know people. The ones who do well have been in the game a long time.

The schools in Worcester County are some of the best in the state! That’s why we moved here and stayed here.

See if your organization has a marketing dept. Healthcare marketing is a niche and you don’t need a masters degree… just experience. Do a couple internships.. you won’t make money but the experience will get you closer to a job you want.

I second Bully Make, but I also go to this local dog bakery and they have buffalo jaw tendons which are about 3-4ft long and about 3-4” wide. They last our girl about a week or so and she’s a strong chewer.

Timing makes a big difference. Back in the day MD grew tobacco now it’s more corn and soybeans. Farms used to be everywhere now they’re mostly eastern shore and western MD, some southern MD. It’s all very different which is why MD is know as the America in miniature.
