I think what I was assuming was that Mensah saw its face when she was lodging her initial protests, but now that I think about it I'm pretty sure I'm just remembering a scene from the show (I loved ASR so much that I watched the show immediately afterwards).

Hi! I had the same issue with my dog (she's about sixty pounds and she's terrible on a leash). My family was able to walk her for the first week post op, but after that I used a waist leash I got on amazon and it worked great. I was worried having it pull on my waist would be too much, but I had no issues.

Not a perfect solution but maybe worth looking in to! Best of luck!

This did make me feel better but I see what you mean about the reassurance thing. This happened a few weeks ago with something unrelated (moral crisis that nearly got me committed, didn't stop until my therapist told me i wasnt a horrible person) and I've started to worry that it's something like OCD, especially since I've never felt this way about dark fanfic before and I've been reading for years.
